Any hockey fans here? Must admit I never really watch it but the Canada Vs USA game was really good. Feel kind of bad that the US worked so hard to come from behind only to lose it in Over Time. Good for Canada though, they're a good team

It would've been nuts if Canada managed to lose the gold medal round. no one in the USA really gives a fuck though.

I'd say more people watch the Super Bowl for the commercials than the game. They also watch it because no other station counterprograms against it... so there's nothing else on.
USA Hockey had Lakers vs Nuggets, golf, college basketball against it. There were a ton more choices, and the majority still chose Olympic hockey

The Super Bowl game is meaningless to most people. Unless your team or a team you hate is playing, who cares. It's an event.

i care because I usually find a way to root for a team, through hatred for one team or underdog-ness or some other reason
for example my 2006 Colts grudge and liking of Reggie Bush gave me reason to root for the Saints
